Zoo Trip

Yesterday we went to the zoo for a end of year trip and to learn about how the zoo keepers keep the animals stimulated. One of those ways were that they got a cage and put the food in a cup and they had to squeeze there hand in the cage and my favorite part was the giraffe feeding because they were huge and were really cool. I found that the hardest part was doing the quiz because we had to read the information boxes.My favorite animal was the rhinos because have really cool horns.

 

Cat's Eye's

Last wednesday we got to make a thing called cat's eye's they are really fun to make here's how to make them.

You will need:
Hot glue guns
Ice block sticks
Wool
Buttons
You will need:
1.First glue your ice blocks sticks together and then wait till dry.
2.Then put the wool in the middle and rape around the middle 2 times and them de the opposite way.
3.Now do a circle around each stick end and keep going around until you are close to the end of the stick then do a not.
4.Decorate if you want.

I hope you enjoy the cat's eye's as much as I do.

Dirt Dessert

Last Thursday Mrs Gunn gave us a surprise we were going to make a thing call a dirt dessert they tasted great here's how to make them.

How to make a dirt dessert

You will need:

• spoon
• chocolate yogurt 
• snap lock bag
• hand sanitizer
• gummy worm
• Oreo's 
• cup

Step:

1. First get your hand sanitizer and put it on your hands and then peel the lid off the yogurt pot and pour in the cup.
2. Now annihilate the Oreo's before that put the Oreo's in the snap lock bag and then squeeze the air out of the bag now crush.
3. Pour the crushed Oreo's in the cup and then grab a gummy worm and put it in the cup. 

Conclusion:

You will now have a dirt dessert enjoy.

Vincent Van Gogh

Vincent Van Gogh is a very favours artist and was born in 30 march 1853, died July 1890. He started painting in 1879 millet,his brother Theo, Gauguin.This is a photo of some art we did in class based on some Vincent Van Gogh art the sun flower.

Inspiration - linear perspective

A horizon line a line that go's across your page and is when you can't see the top and a vanishing point is when the ends of the page gets smaller.When objects go down  to the vanishing point they get smaller. One perspective is when you only draw one line on the page and it is really good  for drawing city block and things that are usually square.

Buddy Day

Today we finished our buddies and there really cool. Buddy day is about how much kids mean to the world and how they should be loved. this buddy is not finished but he looks really cool now.

Last Wednesday we had speeches this is a photo of me before my speech I was nervous. The person I did my speech on was Kancho Robert Sullivan the founder of GKR karate club. This person shows excellence because he work hard and faces challenges and changed the lives of many people. I was so proud to get to the seamy finals of the speeches.

Cross Country

Last Friday we had cross country I had to run 2 km.I found getting a placing hard because there were lot's of fast runners.I enjoyed coming first and doing the thing I love. thank you for reading.

Personification

The tree was as old as Abraham Lincoln. the tree was dressed in moss and dirt.The tree is as tall as king Kong. The tree is talking to the bushes. The tree's leaves's are as bright as the sun. The bark is on it's last legs. The tree had his last summer.

Cross Country Training

Doug Wilson vist

On Tuesday we had a author named Doug Wilson came and visit us and shared some  book's and some really cool things from his imagination . He wrote a book series and the main charter named Tom Hassler it's a great book. Doug Wilson is a great book maker so you should his book's.I what my nick name to be Neb.  

Space Dave

Last week we had a man called space Dave he bran some of his toys to share with us. I learnt that a black hole can nearly suck a sun in side it, That Ceres had volcano's galore, That Saturn has holes in it's rings for the moon's.I learnt a lot about space. It's was great.

Karate Torament

This is some metals I won in a karate tournament on Saturday. I'm the champion for sparing for the group I was in.I got 3th in Kata (hole bunch of moves in a routine) and 1st in sparing ( non contact fighting) it was hard but fun.

Geometry

This term in maths we have been doing geometry.It's been quite hard but you get the hang of it and it's great fun. We have been learning some words on geometry like quadrilateral which means a shape with four sides. I hope you have learnt a bit about geometry.

My War Poem

Bang, boom, crash the war has started we get out of the trenches. The orders were to charge and kill 

the opponent. Me and my Conrad were running. Bang! my Conrad was shot in the arm I had t keep charging at the opponent. ROAR. What was that? Huge explosions explode right beside me I felt my bones shatter as I hit the ground. I was captured and ready for execution.  Suddenly I hear some whistling.  My team mates were breaking me out. My cell was hacked open and we had to get to the trucks before we were killed. I knocked on the door my wife was so happy to see me.

Last week we had tabloids.It was very fun.My favourite part was the tug a war . We had a big tug a war competition we vs ed Rm 15 first and we won yay, then we vs ed Rm 13 sadly we lost.We came second.I love tabloids
